If hobbits built bridges...

on the outskirts of a temparate forest, alongside the columbia river gorge, the waterfalls are measured in ten-fold.

during the dry season the forests are thick and lush with green. The wet season brings recession to the trees and gives birth to a new life in the forest. The trees are leafless and the only green to be found is on the moss covered ground.

the waterfalls saturate nearby rocks with moisture while leafless trees allow for the sun to shine through giving life to purple, brown and green algea.

this forest changes everyday.
